Ms. Alcalde has over ten years of experience in Municipal Court matters. She is an accomplished Municipal Court prosecutor, public defender and private defense attorney. She was recently appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the Municipal Court Certification Committee. This seven-attorney member Committee is responsible for the examination process of all attorneys in New Jersey who seek to be certified as Municipal Court Trial Attorneys, which is a similar process for attorneys who become Certified Civil Trial Attorneys and Certified Criminal Trial Attorneys.
Ms. Alcalde’s defense of clients includes the following Municipal Court matters - traffic offenses and disorderly persons offenses:

Michele specializes in criminal and non-criminal immigration cases. All detention-related cases in New Jersey are heard at either the Elizabeth Detention Center located at 625 Evans Street, Elizabeth, NJ or the Newark Immigration Court, located at the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building, 970 Broad Street, Newark, NJ. She represents immigration detainees in Bond Motions and Removal Proceedings at the following facilities:

Ms. Alcalde is available for consultations most days from Monday to Friday except federal holidays, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. She also offers Saturday appointments by special request from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. She provides in-office consultations by appointment only. The Attorney charges for consultations as follows:
• Initial consultation $100.00.  (IMMIGRATION)
• Initial consultation $200.00 (CRIMINAL/DETAINED MATTER)
CONSULTATIONS ARE PAYABLE IN CASH AND LEGAL FEES ARE PAYABLE BY CASH, CHECK OR CREDIT CARD. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule your consultation, kindly do so at least 24 hours in advance.
